2 a day lake mary

After putting in 10 miles on the bike, I took a quick hike.(Poet, Know it). In the exercise world this is called doing a 2-a-day. Since my cycling legs have fallen apart because I've been working really hard and only hiking and running for exercise. I'm trying not to, do the same for my Hiking legs.
BTW I was very tired, and still am. I need to figure out how to recover and maybe I'll go run or something tonight.

In other news, I need new tires for my car as I realized I had a radial tear in my front left, yesterday. I also went through my finances more clearly a few days ago, and I'm not going anywhere. But I may still buy a tent.

Signed fatigued in Salt Lake.....

Not sure why I'm updating.....

Last night, After the pone call I couldn't get to sleep till about 4am.... then slept in. Last night I caught this documentary about Everest, it covered the Morality of that climb. Let me just cover, I'll never do Everest. I once said, I'll do Everest when there is an elevator. Personally this would be a great tourist boom for Nepal. A quick Tram ride to the top, or something. Stop all the fools from dying on this climb.
Alright Back to the Morality of that climb, The basic thesis of the story was that people who clime it are assholes. They don't stop to help anyone, except people on their team, and even then they are only about 50/50. Apparently according to some, you should instead of taking care of yourself, keep in mind survival ratio is like 1 in 10 die on summit attempts. Also, there is no benefit to climbing to anyone but yourself. It serves no greater purpose, besides your own personal sense of accomplishment. Also keep in mind that people are suffering oxygen deprivation. Seems like to me it would be no mystery why "no one helps suffering climbers on Everest."
Everest takes years of planning, there are permits, you have to get fit enough to do it. Once you get there you only have a 3 or 4 week window. After taking 2 months off of your job, you then go to Nepal, spend a week getting there. Then about a month setting up the 4 camps to help you acclimatise yourself to the altitude. You get to camp 4 and the weather is good to do a summit attempt, Suddenly "Rick Rockwell" New York Financier, who paid a guide to get him to the summit, has been abandoned by his guide, so that the guide can do his 4th summit attempt. The guide forgets to tell him to turn back when he is coming back down from the summit, or he ignores it. But for some reason, you are supposed to abandon your summit attempt to go out pull him into your tent and watch him die for the next 4 days. It's only a narcissistic asshole who would expect someone to come and rescue him/her, only to look around and realize that everyone else is a narcissist around them, and it just ain't happening.

Got on the bike again today, 20 miles... I'm going to have to ease up a bit and not push harder for a good week. Riding a bike is hard. Well, I have no more beer and time to get to sleep.

When it rang, a voice rolled through my head "you better be drunk and hot". They even called me twice... If your in trouble, it's probably best not to call me.

Not to sure about this

Decided to give an update on my lack of love life. So, there is this woman. I don't seem to like her or her kid. I realy don't like her kid. She doesn't realize that she gets into situations with other parents and they laugh at how ill behaved her kid is. To be honest I don't want to get into it. He seems to misbehave so he can get rewards for not being bad.... It's a terable system.
I'd be a terrable parent, I've said it many times. Have you ever seen "The great santini"? Kind of like that.... Damn, you probably havn't. Oh!!! have I mentioned how bad her ADD is. She doesn't even know what focus is. She flitters like a butterfly from one thing to another. She has been in like 12 trafic accidents. I was over there a few days ago, and the idea that we leave the TV off was unimaginable...... Maybe tonights movie will be the great santini.... Ok, I hope I can sleep.

Have I mentioned that it's hot.....

Fabian Cancellara in stage 3 today, pulled off an unbelievable finish. after defending his yellow jersey at the finish, he realized that he had a chance to ride to victory in the stage, and did.
I've been swearing I'd get my bike tweaked for weeks now. Finaly I did that today. it's not quite tweaked but it's running. and I put in my usual 7 mile loop, and at my big hill, I almost had a heart attack... or it was the heat. Wild how hard my heart works when riding the bike.... I need to do more of that....

Some stuff

For those of you unaware, I'm a tennis fan too. I'm afforded the opportunity to watch all the tennis I want, live. This year I've redone my allegiances, and decided to chose the top woman and top man. Ya, it's kind of chickenshit. But I'm a fan of finesse games, and not the big server base line games. To be honest I've been a fan of henin for years. Her new focus and dedication to her fitness have me thinking she is something exceptional. Assuming she can recover from her loss in the semi-finals at Wimbledon..to some no name french girl. Not to belittle the accomplishment of the aforementioned french girl, but she is going nowhere. Due to some abnormal loyalty to her coach, she may have a little hindrance there. She may need a staffing change.
The day she lost, Andy Roddick lost as well... I'm not sure what to say about Andy. He may need a coaching change as well. He has improved over the past year but I'm just not sure it's enough.

Unknown to some is that today was day 2 of "Le Tour" actually it was day 3 but stage 2. Stage One Robbie Mcewen pulled off a masterful win after falling out of the pack with a mechanical failure, then coming back in in the last 5k to move up to the front and pull off the win. It will not be his last...... BTW his team sponsor is a pregnancy test
