are you busy.....

I have this thing these days..... Well, I'm not a fan of T.V..... Ok, it's not like I'm not glued to it quite a bit... but mostly movies, PBS, Documentaries. The only exposure to commercials, I usually get is CNBC... and when there is something on History, or history international... or national geographic.....

But I digress... something reminded me of this...

I've run my own business doing network engineering for a long time, I've become kind of burned out and sick of it.... See, Doing that you realize how poorly run most business are. Employees spend most of their lives emailing friends, reading blogs, surfing the Internet... Etc. The busiest time for the Internet is the last hour of the business day on the east coast... that is when the people on the west coast have come back from lunch, and the MountainTime and CEntralTime people are all Actively Fucking off on the Internet. So it's the busiest hour.. has been since Al Gore Created the damn thing.

People go home, grab McDonalds... and sit in front of the TV till they go to bed. Get up and repeat. So.. with that busy schedule one can start to realize how tough it is for people to do things, and to get things done. You realize that people have so many distractions, no wonder they are so incompetent at their jobs.

I Try and be a Very Active person; Long Walks to clear my head, Time working on my Garden. Always working on some project or another. If I watch T.V..... I want it to be Teaching me something...... But I ask people all the time to do things, and resoundingly I get "I'm Very Busy". But honestly They aren't, they are busy losing time to Internets, and T.V. and the relevant commercials... Those commercials convincing them that if only they buy "X" they can be a beautiful 28 year old couple, living in a multi-million house, which strangely receives light fresh Sea breezes at all time.

That is what people are busy doing, Sometimes I like to blame the Republicans for destroying this Country, and it's economy...... But honestly, it's probably more the loss of productivity from Waisted time on the internet, and being brainwashed by TV.

That is my theory about why Paul volker, was a dilligent central banker "looking for the storm Clouds behind Every Silver Lining". And Why our Central Bank is and has Been "Asleep at the switch"..... They are busy. With Sitcoms, and inernets.... and when they are less busy, they have speaches to write... so everyone who likes the sound of their voices can here it. All the speaches the Federal Reserver members do, I can't imagine that it takes any less than a Week to get it Ready....... So long, Thanks for all the fish.
