I've had fairly fitful rest over the night. Something I haven't shared with the blog is that Ive been strangely "haunted" over the past weeks, I'm not sure why. When I say haunted, I mean that things from my past come up in my head and I manage to think about them more than usual.
Well now for those of you not covering "The Tour", lot's of doping stuff going on. The organizers are saying they "regret" allowing Michael Rasmussen, the current leader, into the race. And one of the favorites came up positive in one of his races and they asked his team to leave.
The awesome thing about Europe is that they are more concerned with Truth and Honesty than they are with "Due Process". They idea that they are innocent until proven guilty. or "we will see what the process shows us.".
Amusing, is that the American cyclists are all about due process when it's an American, but when it's Europeans they want to hang them, with the rest of the cycling public. It's just common ethnocentric, nationalistic sentiment, but it's amusing.
The start of the TV coverage is in 30 minutes, looks like I won't get a ride in this morning. I think I'm still dehydrated from yesterday's ride, and I'm thinking eggs granola and yogurt for breakfast.
Thanks for reading.
